final design sample

After constructing a sample for the technique, I developed this further to collaborate with my partner and drew up a final design. We worked from the pattern and adapted the original sample, adding panels and changing the bodice shape, and adding other design features. We then made the sample up in organdie and silk chiffon, half scale. This was to have a visual representation of the pattern, to look at the proportions of the garment and how it could be developed more into the final patterns and toile.
